On the road to the westcoast... a just magical moment...------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nachdem ich nun lange schon nichts mehr geschrieben habe, hier ein kleines Up-date meines Travels:
Nach Blenheim bin ich Richtung Norden gefahren, um ... Dolphin swimming zu gehen. Man hat ja auch nichts anderes zu tun :). Ne, im Ernst das ich jemals so eine Moeglichkeit bekomme ist einfach nur unglaublich!
Und es war einfach nur gigantisch. Ich kann es nicht in Worte fassen was ich gedacht habe... schaut einfach die bilder an und stellt euch vor mit diesen Tiere zu schwimmen, so nah und so vertraut doch immer genausoweit entfernt, dass man sie nicht beruehren kann.
Und dann die Malborough Sounds... ein Land weit entfernt von allem. Keine Hektikt, keine ueberfuellten Strassen, Ruhe, ... Definitiv einer der schoensten Plaetze hier!
Dann bin ich zum Westcoast gefahren. The wild westcoast... und das is definitiv wahr. Wie die Wellen an den Straenden brechen, dass ist nicht mehr lustig. Richtig schoen anzuschauen, aber definitiv nix zum schwimmen!

Und dann das Wildfood Festival.
Ein Festival der anderen Art... haette nie gedacht dass ich irgendwann mal Maden, Schnecken, Grasshuepfer, Krokodil und Kanguroo probier. Einfach nur... interessant :). Ne, war eigentlich gar nicht so schlimm wie ichs mir vorgestellt habe. Die Schnecke hat sogar gut geschmeckt.

Yeah, I know, I didn't write for a long time. But, you know, travelling is a busy lifestyle.
So, what did I do over the last few weeks?
After I left Blenheim I went to Picton to do the dolphin swimming there. That was just amazing! I never thought that I'm gonna do this one time in my life and I would recon it to everybody. To swim with this beautiful animals is just unbelivable!
Then I drove to the Malborough Sounds, a place out of the normal world. Beautiful nature, no rush, not to many touris... It if definitively one of the most beautiful spots I saw yet.
Then I drove to the West Coast where I met Lilian again. Together we visited the Wildfood Festival. A very interessesting day but sadly I have to say that it was not as big as I thought it would be. As New Zealand is they made it more then it actually was. But that didn't bother us to much, we had fun anyway. Never thought that I'm going to eat one time in my life snails, huhu crambs, grashoppers, crocodile and so on. Definitely a cool experience!
